The Eugene-Kakegawa Sister City program is an ongoing friendship that has existed for over 40 years, and has led to delegations making trips between cities to promote cultural exchange, ranging from homestays, book and gift exchange, and overall cultural development bridging Eugene, and Kakegawa together.
